The Ballard of Khrua In Kong, Natee Utarit (2005)

A series of 50 black and white paintings of postcards from around the world. Ironically, he didn’t travel to these places but instead, purchased the postcards from Ebay. 

The authenticity of it’s painting is only expressed by its accuracy to the original postcard. The real first hand visual experience is lost in imagination.
